![]() TeacherLink lets you share your scale ratings with your teacher.Please note that at present, user fingerings are only stored in the browser you are currently using. If you make a ScalesAce fingering the default option, a duplicate user fingering will be created to store your option. To save an alternative fingering as your default option for the current scale, click 'Save this fingering as your default'.If there is a choice between harmonic, melodic or natural minor scales for your grade, only these minor scale types will then show in the list of scales. Click 'Scale options' to select rhythm pattern and minor scale preference.Try alternating between separate and slurred bows each time you pick a new scale. The 'Test Me' button randomly selects scales from the list on the right.You can also choose to hide the stickers. Change the sticker colours so they match those on your instrument in the 'Settings' menu.Tempo range between 8 and 320 bpm (beats per minute). Change the speed using the slider or tempo box. Tempo settings are set automatically based on exam board recommendations.These are the long notes in the long tonic rhythm pattern. The yellow notes highlight the keynotes in the scale.Note that if the notes and fingering are the same both up and down, you will not see any change (advanced feature, see above).
